This image is taken over Madagascar for purposes of explaining enhancements. A tropical cyclone is visible southeast of La Reunion Island on the right side of the picture. Winds are estimated around 90 kts. This is a good example because the deep convection (temps < -70 º C) and the ground provide good contrast in both the IR and visible channels.
